찾아주셔서 감사합니다. 저는 카이스트(한국과학기술원)에서 교수로 일하는 물리학자이자 저술가입니다. 통계이론물리학과 복합계과학을 전공하고 인간동력학, 생물정보학을 연구하고 지금은 문화와 과학이 만나는 지점에서 생겨나는 혁신의 원동력인 창의성를 생각하며 「문화물리학」 주제의 연구와 글을 쓰고 있습니다. 또한 퓨처오페라 『Undecimber』, 융합건축물 『팡도라네』를 제작・창작하는 등 경계지우기(무경, 無境)를 실천해오고 있습니다.

Welcome all. I am a physicists and author also working at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology) as a professor. I conduct research and write on 'cultural physics' focusing on human creativity, the driving force of innovation that is born at the interface between culture and physics. I have previously worked on human dynamics and bioinformatics, after majoring in theoretical statistical physics and complex systems science. I also practice erasing boundaries through various activities as the production of the Future Opera "Undecimber" and a multidisciplinary architectural structure "Pangdoranée".

You can read about my thoughts from my book "The Future Does Not Autogenerate: Special lessons on creativity in the post-AI era from a cultural physicist" (Dongasia, 2024, in Korean). I am actively conducting public and corporate lectures, and making TV and media appearances in Korean and English.
